Oklahoma Democratic National Candidates for U.S. Senate & House of Representatives

With a few weeks left until the 2020 general election, now more than ever your Democratic candidates need your help to propel them across the finish line on November 3rd. U.S. Senator Inhofe and U.S. Representative Mullin are out of touch with rural, working class Oklahomans and it is time that they are replaced by equal, true representation of what is right for Oklahoma. U.S. Senate candidate Abby Broyles and U.S. House of Representatives candidate Danyell Lanier are running to unseat the current Republican incumbents from Washington.

As a lifelong Oklahoman, Broyles jumped in the race to unseat Senator Inhofe because of his negligence to the average Oklahoma citizen. Broyles is for making Oklahoma stronger by tackling the issues that face every Oklahoman such as healthcare, climate change, our children’s safety, and justice reform. She believes in lifting our agricultural businesses and help rural farmers meet their end goals. Inhofe has proven that he does not care about what voters think at home. Has someone who has voted against the betterment of Oklahoma citizens for the past 25 years, Inhofe has become comfortable as a career politician. Broyles is running to give you, the average Oklahoman a voice again in Washington D.C.
For more information, please visit Abby Broyles campaign website at https://www.abbybroyles.com/.

Danyell Lanier, a lifelong Oklahoman and patriot that has served her country in uniform, is running for public office to serve once more. Like so many others, Lanier has been upset with Washington because of the politicians who would rather line their own pockets than to assist working class Americans. She is running against republican U.S. Senator Mullin because he has shown time and time again that he is not up to the task of duty when his country needs him the most. As Senator, Mullin has voted against every opportunity to help Americans and has voted in favor of legislation that would shell funding for corporations and the top one percent. Lanier is running for U.S. House of Representatives to place the power back with the people and vote on matters that Oklahomans deal with on day to day basis.

State Democratic Candidates for Senate & House of Representatives

Cherokee County is made up of many diverse individuals who represent the ideas and characteristics that make Cherokee County so great. It is because of this it is one of many reasons why Cherokee County is a hub for democratic principles.

On November 3, 2020, four candidates will appear on the election ballot for a chance to represent part, if not all, of Cherokee County and its residents. These individuals will compete against their republican counterparts for the chance to serve the constituents of their respective region. These candidates include: Dyllon Fite, candidate for state senate district 3, Jack Reavis, candidate for state senate district 9, Matt Meredith, incumbent candidate for house of representative’s district 4, and Jason Chennault, incumbent candidate for Cherokee County.

As a resident of rural Oklahoma and proud community member of Cookson, Dyllon Fite launched his candidacy in hopes to bring a voice to rural communities back to the Oklahoma Legislature. Running in district three for the Oklahoma Senate, Fite is running a campaign built on the premise that education is a priority, farming and ranching are essential, our infrastructure needs repair, and healthcare should be affordable for the working class Americans. For more information about the Fite campaign, please visit his website at http://fite4senate.com/.

Jack Reavis is a candidate for state senate district nine. Reavis is a huge proponent of education reform to assist teachers and parents with costs that many are struggling with because of the lack of legislative assistance from Oklahoma City. He is running to unseat republican opponent Dewayne Pemberton because he feels that all individuals should have a say in their government. As someone who is running to represent all individuals in district nine as their state senator, Reavis has a plan that will help Oklahoma families. Matt Meredith is the incumbent state representative for district four. Meredith is a proud rural American that understands the importance of having a good, stable education for our children, having good, reliable insurance to count on, understanding the need to reinvest in our infrastructure and roads, and making sure individuals can retire with no stress. These are issues that Meredith understands because he listens to his constituents when sponsoring legislation. Meredith gets the job done because Meredith listens to you.
